GZamora_8-2014Gilberto Zamora, PhD, oversees VisionQuest i-Rx’ clinical operations that include clinical validation and efforts to establish commercial screening networks. He successfully implemented retinal screening at a network of diabetes clinics in New Mexico, Texas and Mexico. Additionally, under Dr. Zamora’s direction, VisionQuest i-Rx’s automated diabetic retinopathy reading system is currently in use in Mexico, demonstrating safety and effectiveness of the automatic eye screening software in a clinical environment. Dr. Zamora earned his PhD from Texas Tech University.
