VisionQuest i-Rx Inc. and Clinicas del Azucar (Monterrey, MX) have announced today that they have executed a partnership agreement to provide teleretina services with an automatic screening software system.
In collaboration with VisionQuest i-Rx, TriCore offers an end-to-end telemedicine based screening solution that helps readily identify and diagnose patients with diabetic retinal disease.
VisionQuest i-Rx has licensed a cloud-based data management system for real time retinal image viewing. The new system allows doctors to view their patients retinal images and reports on their iPads and mobile phones.
In December of 2014, VisionQuest worked with Molina Healthcare to initiate diabetic retinopathy screening services for Molina members of the Albuquerque and Las Cruces communities. Molina Healthcare is planning health fairs throughout 2015 to reach their members, especially people in the community that might not otherwise receive the recommended retinal screenings.
